Jack of all trades. Throughout my life, I’ve heard that term tossed around since the day I could talk. I never shy away from a new experience and collect new interests like baseball cards. From writing fiction to hiking, to audio production and cooking, opportunities to learn and excel are what motivate me. Not every shoe fits, but the ones that do have me running till my heart explodes.
That’s what drew me to the windy city, to DePaul University, and what locked my eyes on the School of Communication. For four years, I’ve studied just how dynamic culture has become, and the ways our media can respond to and reflect the world as it turns. With so many doors to undiscovered communication strategies opening and closing daily, it’s my duty and an integral part of my identity to go exploring.
Part of that adventure is laying the foundations for a campaign much more durable than a trend or passing-craze. Of course, I bounce around like a mad hatter, opening and closing doors to new ideas...but once I find the right one? I build a castle around it, with a moat and marble staircase. The greatest campaigns are effortlessly timeless, but all begin with an unopened door.
